Welcome to the Website of Penygraig Ladies Rugby Club
 
Penygaig Ladies Rugby Club is made up from ladies aged 16 and over from the surrounding area and the University of Glamorgan. Anyone who is interested in playing ladies rugby for the club is always assured a warm welcome, just show up at training and introduce yourself to one of the coaching team. No previous playing experience is needed.
 

Training Update

 

The training start time has moved from 5.30pm - 6.30pm to 9pm - 10pm

 

New players (aged 17 and over) are always welcome to join.  

 

 

Based at Penygraig RFC The team will play its rugby in the WWRU Division 2 South league. This will promise some excellent competitive rugby almost on a weekly basis. The fixture list comprises of league and cup/plate matches played on a home and away basis.

 

Our home ground is Graig Park and provides excellent facilities and a high quality pitch to play and watch quality rugby and a warm and friendly clubhouse to enjoy aftermatch socialising.

 
Calling New Players

The team is always looking for all those who are interested in giving ladies rugby a try. Training sessions take place at Graig Park on Sunday's  at 1.30 when there is no game (see the fixture list for details) and Thursday's at 5.15pm. If you have never played rugby before and fancy trying something new, or are a current / returning player looking for a new challenge please feel free to come along. It's a chance to get fit, make new friends and learn new skills whilst enjoying our national sport. All are welcome and are assured a warm welcome in a friendly club. For further information please contact the team coaches
